1. Does CA have a closing date for enrollment?

CA does not have a specific deadline for enrollment, but numbers are limited in certain diploma classes.
The sooner you enroll, the better the chance you will have to get a place in class.

2. What do I need to enroll at CA?

You can download our registration form from our website. Fill in the form and send it with the following documentation:

- Copy of your ID,

- Latest result statement,

- a registration fee of R1850.00 to Highveld campus.

3. I do not know if I have admission to Diploma studies?

The following basic requirements will allow you into Diploma studies:  NSC with a minimum achievement of 3 (40%-49%) in ANY four other subjects.  AS WELL AS a minimum of 30% in language of institution of higher education.  HOWEVER some Diploma studies has other requirements.

4. I am not sure which Diploma to study?

CA offers a wide variety of Diplomas with the focus on experiential learning. 
This means that you will have the opportunity to work practically in the field of study in the workplace. 
You are also welcome to make an appointment with a Marketer or a lecturer to explain to you what the Diploma is all about.

5. What is the relationship between theory and practice?

Theory forms a big part of the Diploma studies, however about 40% will be dedicated towards practical experience.

6. Does CA has any residences or accommodation available?

Unfortunately, CA does not currently have residences. There is a considerable amount of apartments in the vicinity.

There are also several private accommodation available.

7. Is there student life at CA?

Definitely, CA has a student council that organize various activities. These activities include the following: First year dance, Mr. & Miss CA, athletics, rugby, netball and many socials. It is important for students to participate in activities to maintain a balance between study and play.

8. Can I enroll for courses in the middle of the year?

No, only students enrolling for the Hair care certificate can enroll in June/July. 
The rest of the Diploma courses run over a year period, in other words  from January till November.

9. What can I study on a part-time basis?

The following courses can be studied on a part-time basis:

  • Early Childhood development (ECD)
  • Higher Certificate in Administration
  • Diploma in Marketing Management (IMM GSM)
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (IMM GSM)
  • ICDL Training
  • ICB Bookkeeping

10. What is the annual terms for CA?

CA's semesters are the same as Gauteng school semesters. So this means CA is closed when schools are closed.
Every Department receives a year planner at the beginning of the year. Parents and students must make sure of important dates for every Department.
