CA starts with an Academic and Sport Trust

[10-10-2011]

One of 's major goals is to establish an Academic and Sport Trust to support students. A growing amount of school leavers want to enter higher education, but do not have the financial means. A large number of students encounter financial problems during their studies and therefore cannot complete their course.

Private providers find it very difficult to support students who excel in sport, to participate at national events. The Universities receives a subsidy from Government which enables them to fund various projects, whilst private providers do not receive any subsidies. This places an enormous burden on both parents and private providers to assist students.

is the first private higher Education Institution to launch an Academic and Sport Trust. This trust will fund students through study loans and will enable sport stars to participate in national university events.

We would like to thank the following people for their contribution so far towards the CA Trust:

  1. Noordvaal Sekuriteit
  2. Ingeniso Private Equity
  3. Anonymous x 5
