The aim of the ECD programme is to educate you to fully understand the developmental factors of children from their baby stage up to grade RR. It will enable you to implement programmes regarding identified remedial problems and to monitor progress to ensure optimal development of each child you work with in the educational environment.
Full-time: Academic face-to-face classes during the course of the year
Part-time: Academic classes on Saturdays (over a 2-year period) (3 subjects per year)

Full-time: Over the course of the year, you will work at a registered pre-primary school/day care centre (except for the academic weeks) to complete your WIL hours.
Part-time: You must complete your WIL hours over the course of the 2 years of part-time studies.
NB: Practical learning to be completed at a registered pre-school / day care centre.
