ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
The Electronic Engineering programme will equip you with excellent theoretical knowledge and a practical understanding of the electronic principles required for a successful career as an engineering technician.
During this programme, you are exposed to the main study directions, digital electronics, analogue electronics and software engineering. These main subjects are backed by the required level of engineering mathematics and engineering science. The theoretical work is also fully supported by laboratory work as well as project work where you are required to give a presentation on completed work.

- has an interest in electronics who wish to pursue a career in the practical aspects of this discipline

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
NSC (National Senior Certificate) (Gr 12) with a minimum of 50% for Mathematics and Physical Sciences as well as 40% in English
OR
NC (National Certificate) (Vocational) with the minimum requirements for entrance to Diploma studies, as specified by UMALUSI (Students who do not comply with the admission requirements but achieved 40% or more in these 3 subjects may be admitted to the extended programme, over a period of 4 years)
OR
N3 Engineering Studies pass with a minimum of 60% in Mathematics and Engineering Science
